Chasing the light

Sometimes in a world of seasons, rain showers down on our grassy lawns and picnics must be taken indoors.  In the midst of our indoor playtime, we must find speckles of sunlight and dance with it's changing movement.

I am quickly learning that photography is much like life.  Beauty, joy, and light can be seized and captured in all of our life experiences... it just requires the artful and imaginitive eye to seek and see past surface level moments.

Today, we found light inside our closed doors while the storm poured down it's heavy load.  Meet my two sweet boys (yes, I am a blessed and happy mommy of twin boys):
